The following guidelines
are for the PRINT version of The Bloomin' News.

If you have
professionally designed your advertisement for The Bloomin' News, all files are acceptable including Quark, InDesign,
Photoshop, Illustrator and PDF. (If you'd like us to design your ad,
see below.).

Full color is preferred, as we print
our entire publication in full color.

All
fonts
must be included (Postscript preferred) or outlined in graphics.

Photos must be at
least 250 dpi or more.

Graphics should be saved as
TIFF or EPS files (JPG are OK, if they
are large enough and can be converted) for photos (PhotoShop 6.0
or earlier), EPS files for vector graphics (Illustrator 9.0 or earlier).

Proofs can be laser.

Our publication is now printed in
full color. Your ad may be in CMYK/full color or grayscale.

Printing is at 150 line screen on
80# gloss book paper stock.

We no longer accept
film/negatives, so please send electronic files on CD, email
(if not too big a file) or camera ready art to our
Editor. Contact the

to be notified when the latest issue is available, as a PDF
download, here at this website. We will design the ad for you at no
charge. Please contact us for
details.
We can design small ads for
our printed newsletter for new customers for a $50 one time fee. Simply
send your preferred text and any ideas you have for the look of your
ad, along with your design fee check (payable to Los Angeles Flower
Market). Tell the size and how many times you would like to run the
ad (see Advertising Rates and Schedule).
